Next, trim your sideburns from the bottom up, to the point where it aligns with the top of your ear.Depending on how long your hair is, blend the hair around the temple and above the ears, so it’s not a dramatically different length from your sideburn.With the guard off, use the edge of the blade to carefully trim the hair around the top of your ears. You want to remove minimal hair, so proceed with caution.
Next, set the clippers to 2—or add the 2-guard attachment to the ProGlide Styler—and trim the bottom half of your sideburn a bit closer. This creates a fade effect, going from the short hair at the bottom of the sideburn to a big longer at the top.
Finally, wet your sideburns and, using a razon, create a straight line at the bottom of the sideburn, which should end around mid-ear.
